How Can I Participate?
Create your own volunteer opportunity to help your community! Feel free to get creative and figure out ways to help your neighbors, friends and family on Monday, January 18, 2021.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
• Pick up trash in a local park or neighborhood
• Help a neighbor with a chore
• Collect food for the food bank
• Write a nice card to lift someone’s spirits
• The possibilities are endless!

(2) KINDNESS ROCKS
Kindness Rocks at Hardy Oak!
Help us inspire everyone at Hardy Oak to spread love, acceptance and kindness as we create Kindness Rocks for our January SVSA service opportunity! We will use these Kindness Rocks to add to our Kindness Rock Garden here at Hardy Oak to continue to spread kindness and acceptance all year long!
How Can I Participate?
Find a rock or two from home (please make sure your rocks are about the size of the palm of your hand or smaller) and get creative! You can use paint, markers, or anything you choose! Decorate your rocks with encouraging messages or beautiful pictures to help brighten someone else’s day.
What do I do with my Kindness Rock(s) once I am finished?
Drop your rock(s) off at Hardy Oak directly into our Kindness Rock Garden.
It is located right in front of the school near the flagpole. You can’t miss the other beautifully painted rocks. We would love to see your pics posted on our HO PTA Facebook page!
All Kindness Rocks are due by Friday, January 29th.
