Thank you to all the Hardy Oak families who have joined the PTA and given their Greenback donation. The funds from the Greenback fundraiser are used on the year-long PTA enrichment programs like Grandparents Day, Bike Rodeo, Field Day, Staff Appreciation, Arts programs, Outdoor Classroom, etc. We truly appreciate your support.We are striving to have each student represented by a PTA member, so if you haven’t joined you can do so at www.join.pta.org or send in your membership form and $8 per member to the school Attn: Hardy Oak PTA. If you choose, both parents may be members plus grandparents, other relatives and even students can be PTA members. We enjoyed meeting so many family members during the Grandparents Day Lunches. Thank you to all of our special guests for making it a fabulous and memorable time!!

The Fall Festival on November 9th includes an awesome Silent Auction! In addition to generous donations from community businesses, each class will donate a themed class basket. If you are interested in learning how you can help coordinate the Class Basket for your child’s classroom, please attend an information session on September 20th at 9:30 in the cafeteria. It’s a fun way to get involved and basket examples and theme ideas will be discussed. Additional information can be found on the Basket Coordinator Form.

Students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story. Volunteering makes a positive impact on our community!

Hardy Oak Elementary will participate in the NEISD Student Volunteer Service Award to encourage and reward students who give-back to others. Volunteer hours for your student can be logged in on Skyward through the External Links icon. Want a way to say thank you to our Hardy Oak Teachers? You can sign-up to bring a dessert to sweeten their day. Each Monday a teacher’s name will be drawn and the person signed up for that week will receive an email with the teacher’s name and any preferences or allergies.
